Taking guitar with Easyjet

Has any of you ever carried a guitar with Easyjet? It's not listed in their website so I don't know whether they would accept it as an extra piece of luggage. Calling them costs £10 so trying to avoid it

get a hard case.
and insurance.

They will charge you extra as it will have to go in the hold. I would buy lots of bubble wrap for inside the case and around the outside. they are not particularly careful so make sure you stay with it when it goes to their specialist loading area. not something I would do unless I absolutely could not avoid it.

Thank you! Yes, I'll definitely have a hard case. I'm quite concerned having seen how the suitcases get treated

I took a violin some years ago. Had to pay about £35 iirc. It was fine.
