Any general advice/ tips or restaurant reccomendations for a smallish budget!?

We are just going for 2 days and staying in a quieter area of Monmartre.

TIA

montmatre is fantastic for great value meals, there are some restaurants do 3 courses at fixed price. cant remember the name but one on the corner along from the moulin rouge in montmatre did a 3 course for £8 each (even included steak as a main course )

also the metro makes it so easy to get around, you can be anywhere in paris in no time
have a great time, am sooo

Have a fab time. As we found to our cost recently soft drinks often cost more than beer or wine in cafes/restaurants - makes it an easy choice
