Suggestions for a rainy day in Eastbourne with 18-month-old?

Spending a long weekend in Eastbourne in two weeks time with DH and 18-month-old DD. Am imagining bracing walks along the seafront in spring sunshine; will probably be blasted by torrential rain and sleet. Anyone know of any indoor activities, play areas, or anything at all that might keep LO entertained for a while? Thanks,

There is the sovereign centre leisure pool on the seafront. Bus ride over Beachy Head? Will you have a car? There is a farm park somewhere nearby which has lambs - might be called Seven Sisters?
tourist info
Drusillas Zoo is good, but more a dry weather day out.

Yep, will have a car. Any indoor play centres in the area?

Hi cakehead there is an indoor play centre on the seafront next to the sovereign centre called fort fun. Also on the way out of eastbourne towards Lewes there is a farm called Middle farm that looks good, animals, play barn & farmers market . Going to try it out on Sunday. Will let you know if its any good.
