Suggestions for a rainy day in Eastbourne with 18-month-old?

Spending a long weekend in Eastbourne in two weeks time with DH and 18-month-old DD. Am imagining bracing walks along the seafront in spring sunshine; will probably be blasted by torrential rain and sleet. Anyone know of any indoor activities, play areas, or anything at all that might keep LO entertained for a while? Thanks,

There is the sovereign centre leisure pool on the seafront. Bus ride over Beachy Head? Will you have a car? There is a farm park somewhere nearby which has lambs - might be called Seven Sisters?
tourist info
Drusillas Zoo is good, but more a dry weather day out.

Yep, will have a car. Any indoor play centres in the area?

Also on the way out of eastbourne towards Lewes there is a farm called Middle farm that looks good, animals, play barn & farmers market . Going to try it out on Sunday. Will let you know if its any good.
