Lefkada or Zakynthos (Greece)

We booked tickets to Kefalonia for 2 weeks at the end of August and are considering spending 5 nights in Lefkada or Zakyntos; which of those 2 Islands would you recommend for a family with 2 children under 10?. We will still visit the island we won't stay overnight for the day.

I've been to all three, with and without DC.
Lefkas is a great windsurfing / sailing spot but otherwise a smaller version of Cephalonia with traditional small resorts.
Zakynthos is more touristy and more choice of different resorts. Lots of nice family resorts and a larger capital.
If I was taking under10s to one of those three I would opt for Zakynthos.
