Burma or Borneo

Hi

DP and I are investigating options for Easter holidays and are debating whether to go to Burma or Borneo (Sarawak). Both holidays would be booked with a tour company so we wouldn't be organising it ourselves. Which would you prefer and why? Thanks

I've been to Borneo and it was amazing. I actually preferred Sabah to Sarawak though. Sarawak was more cityish and then we did a trip into the jungle and to an island with a hotel on it. We also visited an indigenous village with a canoe trip on a river. Sabah had better trips up a mountain and to a wildlife reserve and I love orangutans!!!!

I have been to both and would go to Burma - amazing sights and a fascinating place.
I have been to both Sabah and Sarawak (prefer Sarawak) - visited long houses, saw orangutans in the wild, went kayaking - all great and very easy to organise yourself.

I've a few months in Sabah. I'd go again tomorrow, if I had the funds.
