We booked flights to Kefalonia at the end of August for 2 weeks, 2 adults and 2 children under 10. We are planning on renting a car in Kefalonia. We are hoping to do 8 nights in Kefalonia and 5 nights either in Lefkada or Zakyntos.
Which Island is best Lefkada or Zakyntos?
If we rent a car in Kefalonia, can we get the ferry to Lefkada or
Zakyntos and drive the car in any of these Islands?
How often do the ferries go to Lefkada and Zakyntos from Kefalonia. The idea is to get the car in Kefalonia when we get there, get the ferry straight to Zakyntos or Lefkada; spend 5 nights there and get the ferry back to Kefalonia and spend the last 8 nights there.
Also, if anybody can recommend accomodation in both Islands, that would be greatly appreciated. We are looking for self contained 2 bedrooms with a pool and air conditioner. Also considering a reasort for 5 nights in Lefkada and Zakyntos.
