Cornwall / Devon HOLIDAY PARKS - which ones are best?

DH and I are thinking of taking toddler DS to a holiday park in Devon / Cornwall this summer. We've done Centerparcs before so are looking for something similar but near a beach (and cheaper!). Would like to find one with an indoor and outdoor pool and near good sandy beaches with rock pools! Anyone got any tips?

Perran Sands would be OK in that it has a reasonable indoor pool. The walk down to the beach is a zig zag concrete road which would be a bit of a slog back up and the point at which you access the beach is midway along its mile-long stretch but the advantage is you can walk it so don't have to pay the rip off carparking most Cornish beaches hit you for. There are a couple of sites at Holywell Bay which you could google. Not sure about indoor pools (poss Trevornick?) BUT if you were actually down there, it's a shortish, flat and pleasant walk to the beach which has a shallow stream running along the cliffs into the water, perfect for young kids to dam and sandcastle build, OR, wherever you are along that stretch, Porth Joke is a very good small cove-like beach for kids and a little bit of local asking around will tell you where you can park (on Cubert Common) for free! I'm SURE there are some big sites around Newquay that would fit the bill, too, but the problem, and do excuse my snobbery here!- is that, in high summer and due to their being used by Sun Holiday Voucher users (which is exactly what WE do, offseason!!) they CAN get a bit- well, chavvy. Most of these options should be considerably cheaper than Centreparcs.

Ruda is great, right on the beach, indoor pool and outdoor. lovely walks etc. If you do a search here for it, you'll find out more.
