Me and DP are looking to go to Dubai next year when I finish my university course. Ideally we'd like to go earlier on in the year but when is best? Would April be nice?

Also where is best area to stay? Have seen nice hotels in 'downtown' Dubai but is it a bit out of the way? Budget probably around £800 pp for 4/5 nights including flights.

April is fine, but you don't want to go much later as heat really ramps up in May. Lots of hotels to choose from. Try for a hotel or sometimes cheaper aparthotel in the Jumeirah or Marina area if you want to easily get around and be near the beach. Not sure what package hols coming from the UK cost.
