Any tips on the cote d'azur?

Thinking about going to the south of france with dd aged 6 on the train-- does anyone have any accomodation recomendations or tips?

Hope its not too late for you. We went in October, it was lovely weather.
Public transport seems good over there, we hired a car but seemed to get snarled in rush hour traffic every time we came back from a day trip.
Go to Monte Carlo for the day, its lots of fun.
