Holidays
Mallorca - Club Pollentia Resort - kiddie friendly

Just back from here which was our first hot holiday abroad with DD1 (9 mnths). Place was excellent very child oriented with a hobi club for children starting at age 1 year. High chairs and travel cots provided. The resort is about 2km south of the Porto Pollenca itself but we had hired a car so were able to get out and about anyway. Food was also very good, in a buffet style so you could take it at a leisurely pace or more hurridly if necessary.
The place is divided into 3 and 4 accommodation. I would recommend the 4* "village" accommodation as it really was excellent.
Plus points
- show for kids each night around 8pm
- great accommodation
- great food
- child clubs
- scuba and windsurfing available
- fab pool
- a/c rooms
Minus points
- same songs repeated for kids show each night
- potentially isolated although served by a good bus route
- easy to get to from UK
Having said all that, I wouldn't go back to Mallorca, not because of the resort but just because it is rather too commercialised for us. We're used to off the beaten track places and roughing it. Having the car was a life saver as it meant we could drive to the mountains and secluded bays with less people but I've always been rather bohemian.
