Family beach holiday recommendations?

We haven't been abroad for a few years, we are looking to go away this year but not sure where
We have 2 dc, one is 7 and the other 1.
We are looking to go somewhere sunny, pref near to the beach with a hotel that caters for children.
Don't mind if it's All inclusive/SC

We did think somewhere like Lanzarote, Gran Canaria would be nice but not sure which resorts are best with the dc

Any recommendations would be appreciated

I think you might to add a bit more info, as that's quite a broad question.
Budget? Quiet or busy resort, do you want entertainment/activities/kids' club, will you be hiring a car?
