Non-driving holidays in Italy

Hi all, I'm looking for suggestions for holidays in Italy without having to drive, preferably a villa/self-catering to cut costs, easy reach of swimming/activities/restaurants with a 10- and 4-year old.

Does such a thing exist?

Lake Garda. You can travel around the lake on ferries and visit different towns. The bus service is pretty good as well although we never used it.

Mobile home on campsite?
If so ... marina de venezia outside Venice. Buses run from booth Venice airports, and water bus links to venice.
Lots to do on the site with brilliant pool complex, and supermarket nearby. Opens onto a beach.
You can also hire bikes, and explore the local area (all flat).

Bella Italia campsite on Lake Garda. Excellent accommodation choice and facilities on site and an easy walk along the lakeside path to Peschiera town which has loads of restaurants etc.

Camping Portofelice - can get Abi's from the airport. Fab place!
