Manchester Airport

May sound strange, but it's a fab day for toddlers/small children. We took our 2 1/2 year old and 10 week old the other day. Terminal 1 has a fab viewing lounge and although there are loads of restaurants there we took a packed lunch so the day was free - except for the train fare.

So, fun time was had by all - lots of planes/trucks to see and a train ride at either end!

We will be there on Sunday, dot! We have been going there off and on for years with little ones...DD1 is off to New York for the summer so we are all going to see her off, about 11am, and then DH will be staying for a while with the boys (bigger than yours!) to watch the planes etc while I come home and - erm - "tidy up". (This has become a euphemism for spending far too long doodling around on the internet.)
