This year Ile de Re - next year....? Recs please

Can't decide where to go for a week's holiday next summer.

We had a fab time in mobile home on a camp site in Ile de Re - was perfect. Thinking of Spain or Italy. Any suggestions for small, nice campsites in interesting areas - with towns and beaches where we can do the same?

Haven't been myself, but a friend took her little ones to Montpelier France, this summer. She flew in, hired a car and drove to the beaches where there was a campsite.
Said it was brilliant.

Ooh we're off to Ile de re this year!

Lake Garda or Forti dei marmi in Italy are worth checking out online.

I did my erasmus year in montpellier and its an amazing place.
