Hi can anyone recommend a hotel in york or near to that does 4 bedded rooms for 3 adults and 1 child all I can find in rhe travel lodge in Tadcaster but the reviews on trip advisor are putting me off.

Hi. I stayed at Tadcaster a few years ago, it's really basic no frills...but it's a cheap option. Next to the petrol station and main road...its not a scenic option, but it was clean and comfy and quiet so we were happy with it given what we paid. That said...I wouldnt want to stay more than a night there. I then stayed a night at the Marriott and paid an absolute fortune. The kettle wire was hanging out the plug, there was some kind of large brown stain on the carpet outside our toilet and a screaming hen party woke my young son by banging loadly on our door at 1am. I got an apology but no refund. I wouldn't go there again! So depends what your looking for really. Personally next time im staying over in York it's Tadcaster for me!
