Where to go between Christmas and new year

We have two DD's, 5 and 2, we are thinking we might try and go away straight after Christmas for a few days. Centre Parcs is crazy expensive (but the kids love it). We don't mind a drive/short/flight/Eurostar, nice hotel but fun for the kids, does anyone have any ideas?

Berlin is a lot of fun and very Christmassy with some of the markets still running and gluhwein and bratwurst stalls on every corner! Great sightseeing, loads of great restaurants and not stupid expensive.
