So we have been ivited to a wedding in vegas. DH's best mate so will be going.
There for 4 nights.
What are the must do's I need to plan our time wisely

We got married in Vegas in last year, it was amazing, where is the wedding? Have you booked your accommodation yet?

If it's your first time and only 4 days, I'd just concentrate on seeing all the hotels - so planning to visit each section of The Strip and just walking around. Number one for me is seeing the Bellagio fountains and eating at Mon Ami Gabi at Paris.

We got married in the Mandarin Bar at the Mandarin Oriental, I would recommend going there for drinks as the view looking down the strip is breathtaking.

Not sure where they are getting married or where we are staying yet.
The fountains look great will put that on the list for sure

What time of year?

If suitable, plenty of natural wonders within a few hours.

The Hoover Dam is an awesome sight, also you can get a trip to the Grand Canyon. That will knock your socks right off. There is an art gallery in the Bellagio. I like the shops in Caesars. There are some great shows too.

Possible to do flights to the Grand Canyon. It's about 4/5 hrs in total, so worth researching in advance to decide how best to do it - lots of price and time options. Well worth seeing if you are there.

I've been to Vegas 3 times in 3 years, I love it! Must sees:
Titanic museum at Luxor (if you're into it!)
MGM is great hotel to stay at, particularly breakfast in bed!
Crystals if u have designer brand budget.
Bellagio fountains at night
Bellagio conservatory (visit both day and night)
Circque du solieil (sp?) O at bellagio is brilliant
Absythine show at Caesars is an experience!
Forum shops at ceasers
Miracle mile shops
Eiffel Tower restaurant (book early for good table)
Limo hire down strip from Las Vegas sign down to Fremont street
The wynn hotel is stunning inside
Dolphins at the mirage
Fashion show mall
Venetian hotel shops
Restaurant at top of stratosphere tower rotates for amazing views and u can see ppl jump off!!

Hoover dam is nice but very hot!!
Joel robuchon restaurant in MGM is stunning but very expensive!

Helicopter to the Grand Canyon- best part of our Vegas trip.

We also enjoyed doing to Freemont Street off strip for more classic casinos.

I'll add the duelling pianos show at New York New York and the Neon Boneyard to the list.

Am very excited now, it's gonna be a long wait til September

We got married there last year at the end of August. It was very very hot, over 40 degrees. I found walking around on the strip for too long in the heat exhausting. Most of the hotels have lovely pools, we were at the Bellagio and the pool was beautiful.

The Beatles Circ show is fantastic, deff worth doing.

It is worth remembering that for all the AC in the world, Vegas is built in the desert so it is fahucking hot outside. IME too hotels under-count the number of sun beds to guest ratio-they want you IN the hotel, not out at the pool with your kindle .

If you're feeling flush, spring for a private cabana, that way you avoid a punch up over a sunned like the fellas near us at Mandelay Bay
