Am taking my DC to the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden this Thursday with a friend and her DC. Anyone know if I can buy discounted tickets anywhere?

You can usually get 2 for 1 if you have a paper train ticket.

Thanks Camel. 2 for 1 came up when I Googled, but I couldn't work out whether we needed to travel together (we are travelling from different places) and whether I needed to pre-book. Will have another look.

You just show your train tickets at the museum. You also need to fill out a form about the offer in advance and present it with your tickets.

They have the forms at train stations. You can travel separately but it must involve a paper ticket, not oyster or contactless. When I last went, we just bought a ticket from London Bridge to Charing Cross to get the discount (didn't even travel by train). Enjoy it, I must go back soon with the DC.
