After the totally horrendous time we have had with our house sale falling through DH and I have decided to grab a week in the sun with the DDs 2 and 4. Ideally not massively expensive(ha ha) but somewhere in the 20's so we can feel the sun on our backs and wind down before stepping back on to the traumatic buying/selling house treadmill!

Thanks

We have been reliably informed that the canaries, tunisia and morrocco are all too uncertain in terms of whether so have had tentative thoughts about the US (gulp) and Egypt...

And where do you get the best deals these days??

barbados? - Virgin do reasonable deals and a week is fine

Canary islands? Thought the weather is supposed to be quite nice all year round. Otherwise the southern hemisphere , it's summer down there

Tenerife, though not sure about web sites.

My sister has just returned from Lanzarote and had good weather.

I went to Egypt with Eclipse and would also suggest Portland.

If you are not going in the school holidays, should be reasonable

I am in The maldives at the moment and it is out of this world! 40C+ though.

We flew Qatar Air, voa Doha, only an hour stop over, and they were excellent

Oman is amazing, beautiful weather, scenery and people. Dubai for shopping and being adult (ie glam). Seychelles is meant to be great too (would likely be best on a stop through my home town of Doha via Qatar Airways - they are good aren't they alibubbles, esp once you're actually on the plane). Or would Turkey be warm enough right now?
