Hi has anyone ever had any experience of club la costa ? I have been awarded a holiday and have to go along to claim it with ID next sunday with my parter meant to only cost £29 each plus taxes - a bit worried we may end up being conned into getting a timeshare!!!!

Yep, your right you spend 2-3hrs looking round resort in the UK then watching video of amalgamated time share so you can swap. Want you to sign up straight away, then you get these vouchers which can only be used when they say so no school holidays bank holidays or public holidays. You pay a processing fee and your own insurance.
My sister went on one to Tenerife for 7days turned out to be 6 and spent one full day out of the remaining 6 at the timeshare base even though she didn't want one anyway. It was hot no drinks for the children etc etc.

If you want a time share then yes, go for it if not don't. When you ring to confirm by the way they may tell you it isn't time share, but it is!!!
