DH and I are lucky enough to have tickets to see England play S Africa in the rugby world cup in Sept. We are now trying to organise how to get over to Paris for the match. We will have a relatively new baby so can only go for the day.
Has anyone tried to book Eurostar on a particularly busy day in advance and been disappointed? They only open bookings 3/4 months before hand and I am worried that travel companies will get priority and by the time I try to book all the seats will have gone.
Internet at work not working particularly well at the moment but also trying to find prices for flights on the same date (14th) - we live in Hampshire so could travel from any of the London airports or Southampton - does anyone have any recommendations/ideas?
Our last resort would be driving, either going by the tunnel or channel ferries. Has anyone driven to St Denis before? How long did it take?
