Can you help us make a decision? Weather in majorca in October in one word?!

My guess is "unreliable"
Or maybe "just too cold" sorry i know that's 3 words!
But I'd really love to be proved wrong!

Hit-and-miss 😂😂

This time last year I was in menorca, we had two scorching days, one day where it rained, then two overcast but warmish days.

ByeByeLilSebastian · 05/11/2016 17:09

Shit.
Or it was when we were there.

Nospringflower · 05/11/2016 17:10

Mixed and unreliable.

Coffeethrowtrampbitch · 05/11/2016 17:11

Good. Went to Majorca in mid October 2 years ago and it was definitely warm enough to use the water park and pools no problem.

Chewbecca · 05/11/2016 17:15

Unpredictable

ineedamoreadultieradult · 05/11/2016 17:16

Mixed...and the pools are freezing!

have just got back from my sixth time in Mallorca in October. Usualla there is one bad day per week, the other six are around 25 degrees and definitely not too cold. Last year we had a bit of bad luck and had three days of cloud and some rain, otherwise max one day. The sea is really warm though.

Thank you all! It's a bit of a gamble isn't it? Going then as opposed to the summer makes it literally 1k cheaper for the same holiday, so you can see why it's tempting!

Go to the canaries instead? Better chance of still being hot and sunny.

Missanneshirley · 06/11/2016 13:35

I know, it just all comes back to budget, the canaries bump it back up into unachievable again

OK, I suppose it depends when you're going really. Mallorca seems quite expensive to me. We went to,mallorca in June and are going to lanzarote soon, and just about everything about the lanzarote holiday will be cheaper, even the flights, despite them being twice as long.

donajimena · 06/11/2016 14:05

I think the costa del sol is warmer than the balearics

GazingAtStars · 06/11/2016 14:14

I went mid September it was sunny and warm enough every day. My friend went early to mid October and it rained quite a few days

Evariste · 06/11/2016 16:21

I had a cold wet week there once in October. Grim. That's why it's cheaper than Canaries it's not a summer holiday.
