Thanks for replying though we had set off by then. We did take the sledge (Fulwood) and had a brilliant time. I have not seen snow like that for 12 years, it just doesn't do it any more here(boo hoo) Mind you I think I was more excited than the kids who disliked the cold and wet a bit too much. But now we know...when the snow lets you down, drive to it! Oh yes, and remember to pack a little snowman kit...carrot, coal (not much of that around any more!)

Glad you had good fun - you must have logged off almost immediately after your last post!!! We still have a lot of snow up at Lodge Moor, esp on the hills. DD has been out sledging but also isn't so keen on the cold, wet bit.
