E111s needed for Slovenia?

Does anyone know if you now need an E111 if going to new EU member states like Slovenia?

and I found on an Irish website that E111s are being replaced from 1 June with a new European Health Card - does anyone know about this?

And if they are valid, is a new baby covered on my already stamped E111 without putting her name on a new form?

we are going to Slovenia in 2 days so it's probably too late to worry - any experts on this out there?

thanks for any advice

The UK hasn't introduced the cards yet (surprise surprise) so you still need an E111.

You should also get a new one with your baby on it yes - you may have to pay for her treatment without it. It only takes 10 mins at the post office.

Yes you can do the e111 at the postoffice. You will need your and your baby's nhs numbers.
