hello ,I'm a virgin mums-netter,(not literally of course although according to my husband I should be re-entered for this category),we usually go to Playa Blance in Lanzarote Oct half term with my 2 boys 4 and 6,why ?you ask! well it's almost guaranteed good weather, little traffic ,only 4 hours flying ,good food and real toilets you can put bog-roll down!!...however we are getting bored with that now and wonder where can we go in Oct that isn't too far,is hot,not tacky and good for kids....other places on that latitude seem to be cyprus and other canaries but never heard any rave reviews re either xxxx thanks in advancex

Well, you've mentioned all my destinations!

I was going to say Canaries or Cyprus for the weather in October.

Don't know how you feel about Egypt. The weather would be fantastic and there are very good All Inclusives in Sharm el Sheik.

Was going for Easter but have now booked for Playa Blanca, Lanzarote!

Hope you sort something out

Turkey? Or Tunisia? Otherwise main land Spain - what about La Manga?
