Family Friendly Hotel in London Recomendations Please

Can anyone reccomend a reasonable hotel in London with rooms that accomodate 4.

We always stay in NOVOTEL. They are usually very child friendly and can take 4 people in a room.
There are several in London in various locations. The one in Hammersmith is really nice and can even take 5 people in a room, so they are spacious.
Where do you want to stay? When is it for? What are you willing to spend? What facilities do you want it to have?

we really want a base for some sightseeing and generally mooching round london. there are 4 of us. happy to spend a reasonable amount although not really planning on staying in the hotel a lot so don't see the point in staying in 5 star super posh hotel!

There's a premier lodge on the south bank, which is great for families - quite cheap and right on the river, next door to Shakespeare's GLobe. There's Borough market nearby for breakfasts and snacks too.
