The lovely cottage we used to visit in the Pyrenees is no longer available. Can any MNers recommend a gite/cottage that is:
suitable for a couple
comfortable and well equipped
has some outside space - prefer a garden but a terrace would do
on its own, i.e. not part of a complex but preferably within walking distance of a restaurant/shops
We're quite flexible on area. DH likes the Pyrenees because we could combine that with a couple of nights in Barcelona and the weather is perfect. We fly and pick up a hire car and driving in France is a joy so no problem with long drives.
