With 12 yr old ds and dp.We want a really nice easy holiday this year so a fairly short flight and a really lovely hotel with things for ds.We don't want anything like entertainment etc for us we just want to read and rest after a really hard year and maybe a nice smallish town Not greece but anywhere else

where did you end up after Christmas and was it any good ?

We ended up nowhere!Dp was exhausted and we had a houseful for xmas so when ds went to my parents we stayed at home in Brighton and did loads of things we used to do before ds!It was brilliant Our own town had so much to offer we watched endless films and ate out everyday and didn't use the car and it was v romantic and a real tonic I'd thoroughly recommend it We are still talking about it and we don't often do that about proper holidays!
