beaches near Chateaulin

We're staying in Chateaulin (Brittany) in July and wonder if anyone can recommend any nice beaches that are close to there? Anyone any experience of Pentrez-plage/St-Nic? We will have DD (5) and DS (13months) with us so accessibility to the beach may be an issue here, although if it's a really nice one we'll shove him in the backpack!!
