tHIS MAY SOUND LIKE i'M LAZY, BUT i HAVE BEEN ON INTERNET FOR HOURS TO NO AVAIL. i HAVE NEVER BEEN TO EUROPE BEFORE (EXCEPT FOR SCHOOL TRIPS TO CALAIS)

My parents are from Africa and Caribbean so if we had money to go on Holiday we went 'back home'. Now I have a 18 month old and I would love to take her to Spain / Canaries / Portugal or somewhere.

My Criteria is:

Upmost cleanliness (i am borderline OCD)
Self catering with option to do do half borad if food options are nice
clean child friendly pool.
relaxing
hot
short flight and high standard of accomodation
a spa would be nice

has anyone any recommendations from past experiences? would appreciate any tips on cheap agents / website to go through too.

thank-you

I have jsut booked to Mallorca with www.ownersdirect.com
loads of places, weve been to 3 different villas always seem 'as described' and cheaper than an agent. We book cheapy flights than look for acommodation. though its all self catering, i find much easier with a little one. Mallorca, menorca nice, as is cyprus, crete, loads of places really!

Mallorca is brilliant for little ones and cheap, quick flights etc. There are some lovely places at the north of the island, and i'd say its just best to keep away from Magaluf - for obvious reasons!

PS - I go to Mallorca every year and just love it
