We are planning a trip to Mauritius next year - if you've been could you let me know what you thought of your hotel?

We're considering Outrigger and Tamassa at the moment but will look at any!

Royal Palm; small, upmarket but a great splurge
Dinarobin; very lovely with outstanding food
Shandrani; fantastic AI and perfect for active DC

I love MauritiusSmile

We were looking at Shandrani - is the airport noise a problem at all?

Residence is one of only 2 holiday hotels in the world I have ever returned to. It's not quite as good now as it used to be, but still amazing, especially with kids.

I did look at Residence but think I discounted it as the rooms weren't partitioned at all - will double check! Did look amazing though.

Look at La Pirogue and Sugar Beach.

Friend of mine recommended Shandrani to me yesterday.
They have travelled a lot and like nice hotels/food etc. You don't mention DC but they have Secondary age boys and said the facilities for them were great too.
They didn't mention the airport noise

We stayed for a week at Le Touessrok and could have stayed forever ..... Highly recommended

Shandrani all inclusive was amazing when we went (5 and 7 years ago). A little aircraft noise, but nothing to bother about. The short transfer was definitely a bonus.
