City break half term with 12 yr old

Hi DH DS (12) and I have a holiday in October Half term. Best hols for us have been York, Bath, Edinburgh, Rome and Naples, Granada. We're thinking of Barcelona but not sure enough for a week. We like mooching, history etc. Any ideas?

Definitely enough in Barcelona for a week. We're just back from doing it a second time with DDs 12,14 and 16.

We're also thinking of Barcelona for this half term.

Situated - do you mind me asking where you stayed?

Tallinn is beautiful with loads of history, but before booking in October I would research how cold it is likely to be and what time it will get dark.

I went to Barcelona with DS for his bday. Both loved it. So much to do& mooch. Got an appartment through air bnb
