I have just made a reservation on an apartment in the old town and am wondering if anyone has been? I'm looking for something quiet and relaxing with nice beaches and restaurants suitable with a 3year old.

Jzee, we went there for a few days in December for a friends wedding. What time of year are you going?

The beach is lovely, and there are plenty of restaurants. Whether it will be quiet depends on when you go.

We are going 1st week in May and staying in the 'Old Town'. It's booked now so we can't get out of it, but just wanted to get an idea on the place. We shall probably go out to eat a few times, but have a small child so will definitely not be clubbing!

It will be lovely then, and no school kids etc. We also have a 3 year old, and she really enjoyed it. Have fun.

So good have been back 3 times. The old town is quite beautiful, (very clean) fish restaurants locals playing bowls outside. There is a water park at Costa Teguise, basic but fun there are various trips around the island. The underground caves are good but not sure for 3 yr old. Plenty of places to eat and drink boat trips etc. I'm sure you will enjoy...have a great time.
