So, is there a sun screen that you can slap on in the morning that lasts all day?

We use Bergaderm, which lasts 6hrs. It can be a hard to get but Sainsbury and some Tescos stock it.

we use the piz buin all day stuff and it is fab, it doesn't smell, stain your clothes and you just need to put it on 30 mins before going out, we have used this loads and none of my three have burnt and they are fair skinned

JanH · 01/02/2007 22:22

P20 is OK if you put it on stark naked and then wait 30 mins, so I've heard

Fine for kids, I suppose - rub it in and then sit them down for breakfast in their knicks.

SarahJaneSmith · 01/02/2007 22:22

We use the Piz Buin too! I have a family of blondes and red-heads and it has worked perfectly for us.

JanH · 01/02/2007 22:38

Which Piz Buin is it,please? (I get horrible prickly heat and could really do with something that works!)

swedishmum · 01/02/2007 23:14

I've always used Piz Buin allergy - I'm photosensitive and it's the best I've found. Works well on kids. I'll try the one application cream next week and report back.

Pro Derm, its an Australian one, comes in a mouse form, lasts for upto 8hrs, £11.99 from Sainsburys. They do a seperate kids one, but I've stuck adult factor 30 on dd1 and she was fine in blazing sunshine.

gingernut · 01/02/2007 23:21

We use Ultrasun (the Once a day SPF 30 formulation) (sold in Waitrose and JLP).

P20 doesn't have any UVA protection BTW.

Ther's a fab Piz Buin one that I used in Dubai.I have fair skin and burn easily ,tan eventually.I didn;t burn at all,it stayed on for ages.I would thoroughly recommend. It was about £20 for a big tube though.

brimfull · 01/02/2007 23:58

wotzsaname · 02/02/2007 00:16

My DH says the best thing is a brick wall! but we cant fit one in suitcase, so he likes to fine a nice bar and lucch for us all from 11am till 2pm.
