advice appreciated about perpignan area for half term

We booked flights to perpignan ages ago but haven't booked any accommodation (weren't sure if we could make it!) "We" are dh, dd age 3, ds 21 months and me. Can anyone recommend accommodation or places to head for, should we/can we go as far as barcelona? Is there enough to do in feb in and around perpignan or port vendres? We are flying on friday 9th feb and staying until wednesday. I'd love to hear any info...

Hi, we fly out to Perpignan every year and stay with friends. They live in a little town called St Cyprien. Its about 20min drive from the airport and It has a lovely beach. I was very surprised at how cold it was there, the sky was lovely and blue but it was coat and trouser weather. The best thing that we did was go up into the Pyrennees, we caught the little yellow train into the mountains and the children had a great time playing in the snow(in some places the snow was upto their waists so if you go make sure you take extra clothes!) oh and a tobogan
