Thats it really. I am the least technically minded person in the world closely followed by dp. Had JVC camcorder for 4 years and never transferred over to a video but now have ds and the camcorder tapes are piling up I would like to make a vhs video. I have lost the manual tho. What I have is a telly with one scart output, a video/dvd combi (samsung) with 2 scart outputs, a jvc camcorder with an av wire connecting to a scart via the yellow, red and white wire things that plug into it, 2 scart cables aside from camcorder connector one and a contraption I was flogged the other day-a scart 37 video controller-basically loads of places to plug scart cables into-is meant to fit my purpose but instructions confuse the hell out of me. There, I told you I was useless. If anyone can make any sense out of my waffle I admire you let alone tell me how to do it but I live in hope.... Thanks

Could you plug the yellow, white and red wires into the corresponding coloured holes on the front of the TV, play the film the same as if you were watching in on TV, put a blank VHS in the video and press record? I am about to do the same and that is how I was going to do it so would be intered to hear how you get on HTH

our crappy telly only has 2 holes for wires which is why i normally watch the tapes via the scart u can plug wires into as if i plug the wires in the 2 sockets i get sound and no picture. let me know how u get on tho
