We are due to go on holiday in a few weeks and will be taking the buggy on the plane with us. Someone has just pointed out to me it's a very large stroller? And that I should check they will accept it? Anyone else taken a MacLaren techno xlr on a plane?

You won't be allowed it in the cabin if that's what you mean but you can usually keep it right up until the plane door and then it can go in the hold.

Yes it's our normal plane buggy. You can take through airport to gate.

Yes it's fine you can take it just not on the aircraft! X

Yes I have and the baggage handlers managed to bend the frame, resulting in it snapping a few weeks later. The next time we went away, I took an old mamas and papas one which MIL had at her house.

Thanks, I know I can't take it in the cabin, just some comments have made me worry that there may be a weight or size restriction for buggies, glad to know it should be fine! I have a bag for it to go in and hopefully it won't get damaged Sad
