Two nights Northern France

We are going to France next week (DH and DS 5, 3 and 11 months). We're spending a few days near Le Touquet and then heading to Disneyland Paris. We have two nights still to book. Does anyone have any suggestions on good destinations in Northern France between Le Touquet and Disneyland Paris?

We were maybe thinking of Versailles?

Thanks Smile

Depends on the day. Even in the Summer holiday season the chateau closes for one day a week (guess which day we picked). From what I remember the roads / autoroutes around Versailles were very difficult. If possible try to avoid the Periphique.
What about Amiens? You could visit the Somme battlefield on the way down from Le Touquet.

We are visiting Arras on Friday this week.

I chose it just as an overnight stop off en route to our stay south. But I looks a nice town and has historical sites etc.
