Moscow over Easter with dd

Hi freaking a bit about this. I've heard it isn't safe to take a taxi from the airport (Sheremetjevo) into town. Is that true? Or is it just particular taxis you should avoid? If so, how do you know which ones are ok?

Also wondering how difficult it is to travel about with dc. How safe/dangerous a place is central Moscow (during the daytime)?

Umm,on and off from 1998 until 2002.
Yes,I was there with a child,but coming back and forth from UK.
