Good day out, quite expensive to get in. Buggy friendly.

Thanks, will check out when weather a bit better.

Fantastic! Yes, it is quite pricy, but if you live close enough, an annual ticket is a good option - think it costs about the equivalent of 3 visits, and you could use it every week or so, making it much better value for money!

It is pricy but brilliant. Try and set off early so you get a full day there because there is so much to do. The zoo part is great for the kids as there are quizzes and challenges relating to the animals all the way round (for instance seeing if they can stand on one leg as long as a flamingo. I'm quite good at that one ). The adventure playgrounds are so big that my two could happily play there all day. If you are waiting for better weather then take towels and things for the paddling pool. I always forget that bit!

you can get free tickets through tesco clubcard deals too. Its got indoor stuff too if the weather is bad.

VelmaDinkley · 29/01/2007 19:27

Fantastic- can spend hours there, but take your own food & drinks, the cafe's awful

alex8 · 29/01/2007 19:30

not in my experience. Had a fab lasagne with loads of veg last time.

VelmaDinkley · 29/01/2007 19:31

Cool- must have got better
