Can anyone recommend?

We are looking to go abroad for the first time next year with our two daughters who will be 6 and 3. They've never flown before so we were thinking somewhere close with a short flight, Spain etc.
Can anyone recommend a good family friendly area/hotel and any tips for traveling with small
children?

Menorca was where we went for the first time we flew abroad with dc.
Short flight. Lovely soft sandy beaches with shallow sea.

puerto pollensa in majorca is perfect for a holiday with little ones
small resort with no discos
nice restaurants, beautiful beach with shallow, warm water
main area is the pinewalk where you can sit on the edge of the beach with your drink/meal while your kids play on the beach

just gorgeous
and only a 2 hour flight
