Its driving me MAD, if i sit with her then she plays, but if i go she throws a tantrum...PLEASE advise me, i am tearing my hair!!!! Thanks in advance!!

Hi meem, I feel for you. Been there done that

First to check is has anything changed in the circumstances recently? If so that might explain extra clingyness.

However, lo's go through soooo many phases

DD was the same, I wasn't allowed out of her sight. In the end I just had to let her cry for a little, i.e. when I had to do stuff in the kitchen or so. What I used to do was just to keep talking to her from e.g. the kitchen, telling her what I was doing and why i wasn't rushing out to her every whim. Either she got better or I got better at ignoring it. Can't quite remember

DS, 2.5 is starting similar phase again and turns from absolute darling angle into stroppy monster in 0.1 second flat if he doesn't get his way. I just try and ignore it and he's learning... slowly

I know it's hard work but believe me ... it will get better eventually
