Where would you go?

Hello,

I was just looking for some ideas / inspiration for a European sun break in Sept.

It's our 10 year anniversary, and we have secured 4-5 child free days (thank you grandparents) and want to make the most of it.

We can use air miles for the flights, and have set aside £1-1.5k for the hotel/accommodation.

I fancy a Greek island like Santorini, DH thinks maybe Italy, but would love to hear recommendations of places people have been, and enjoyed.

Ideally somewhere beautiful, with good food, not too hectic, and still warm in Sept.

Verona - perhaps 4-5 days there is too long, but could combine with Venice
Vienna - I used to live in Austria and weather will still be nice in September
I really loved Stockholm

Santorini is lovely... depends if you want to just relax, or do some sightseeing too?

I am glad to hear that Santorini is lovely, I hoped it would be. I think the emphasis will be on relaxing rather than sight seeing, as we tend to do that when holidaying with the DC.
