Center parcs Elveden

Hello!

We are off to centre parcs next week and I am just in the process of booking activities. I have a 13m old little girl and could do with some advice and tips please. We are staying in the lakeview hotel.

Does anyone know if I can do the treasure trail with a child seat on my bike?
Has anyone tried the sensory classes?

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated!

We stayed in the hotel at Elveden, it's nice but pretty basic. We enjoyed the bike rides with our little one in the pull along cart at the back. Swimming was also really fun but it got very crowded and rowdy so I would go early. Do the painting pottery activity but remember it takes 24 hours before you can collect your piece! The beach was nice for strolls. Take some fruit with you and snacks as it can be expensive eating out the whole time and the food in the restaurants wasn't terribly healthy I found, nor cheap.

Some days little ones plus parents can have earlier entry into the pool (about 9/9.30). If you're taking a fancy buggy take a bike lock for securing it just in case. Otherwise if you babywear take a good sling/carrier for walking around. The staff in the creche are lovely if you want to have some child free time.

I've done the pre-school play thing for our just 3yo and it was a bit rubbish. Just a small sports hall with a load of toys (not sure what I expected though).

There's so much to do included that I don't bother with the activities any more. There's biking around, the playground, the 'beach', the swimming. Include in some time eating and relaxing and sleeping and unless you enjoy running from one appointment to the next then there's really no need.

Also if you want to eat out in the 'village' do it at lunch time - much quieter than dinner.

And the shop is awesome. Obviously you're not self catering, but they literally have everything you could want. So don't stress if you e forgotten to pack calpol/sudacrem/toothbrush etc.
