child friendly accomodation in Oz

Hi has anyone got any accomodation recommondations for Sydney, Perth and Melbourne. We are travelling with a 23 month old and 4 year old?

We went in November with three kids (13, 7 and 3). We stayed at the Pacific International apartments on George Street - we had a 2 bed apartment which gave us all the space we needed; you would probably be ok with a one bed with your kids(pull out in living room). It's really centrally located and the staff are extremely helpful. Do ask for a high floor apartment though, as the ventilation system for the shopping centre opposite is located on the roof and is noisy so you want to be above it. It's on the edge of chinatown which our kids loved, and a short walk from Daling Harbour (great playground on the way). We also rented a fabulous three bedroom house at Palm Beach (northern most suburb). The house was really great, the people were lovely to deal with and the beaches nearby are stunning. Google "Careel Palms" and you will get various options - I think we went through ozstays. I prefer self catering with kids, but each to their own. For me the apartment was the best of all worlds as it was cleaned daily, but we had a kitchen and our own laundry facilities.
