anybody recently used the fast track passport service

post office staff tell me it takes 2-3 weeks but website says 1 week.

How long did you wait?

The 2-3 weeks will apply to passport applications sent by post. The fast track service means you need an appointment at a passport customer service centre and that is why you can either use the 1 day or 1 week fast track depending when you are going on holiday

Did you use post office check and send as that doesn't speed up the process?
