We are going to Cala'n Bosch in June. What's good in the area? Is it worth hiring a car? Any information would be handy!

heard great things about cala n bosch. can't quite picture whereabouts it is on island tho'. we stayed in sa caleta first time then in cala n forcat.

how long are you going for? we went for 1 week first yr and 2 wks second yr. didnt hire a car either time but it just depends what you're wanting to get out of your hol.

menorca is so family friendly.... great with little ones.

We are going for 1 week. We have heard good things about it too. Picked a nice hotel we hope.

I think we are more concerned about the flight and how little one will fare.

we chose menorca because flight good and short as is transfer time from the airport (we were at far end of island from airport and transfer was still less than one hour)

although flight short, 2 1/2 hrs is still a long time to have a lo on your knee. when we went this yr ds was 22months. we took lots of little things for the flight - colouring in bk, sticker bk, story bks, snacks etc, bubbles & balloon for airport etc.

We went to Cala n'bosch in September. We had a lovely time at the Viva Menorca apartments.

It was a very family friendly resort. We didn't go to the beach there as it was at the other ens of the resort from where we were staying and we liked our pool. We did go to the beach at ?Galeta and it was very picturesque. We hired a car quite reasonably although I think the local bus services are quite good.

We went to santa tomas last june with our dd who was 5 mo then. Had a lovely time - nice quiet resort, great weather and very family friendly. I would hire a car for a couple of days. The islad is so small it won't take long to get anywhere, but it means you can discover some lovely small quiet beaches away from the hotels! Have a lovely time!
