I need to get from the M11 to New Malden. Will be travelling around midday tomorrow (Saturday).
I can either go round the M25 or to the end of the M11 and North Circular or straight through the middle of London.
I have only ever done the latter when someone was navigating, but I have Sat Nav now. The latter 2 options shave about 30 miles off the journey, but are obviously only going to be quicker if the roads are clear.
Experience has shown me that the M25 can often be heaving anyway and I've sometimes lost the will to live sitting there!
I am not used to London driving. I'm confident enough, but I don't know alternative routes etc.
So, my question is, do you think going round (N. circ) or through London would be quicker than the M25 on a Saturday lunch time?
