Family friendly Dover hotels

Hi, first drive to France with our daughter who will be 22m when we go, we are a 6hr drive from Dover & have a further 8 to drive in France (argh) can anyone recommend a hotel which has bits for toddlers, park pool etc? In Dover. Tia xx

We have stayed at the Premier Inn at Dover quite a few times and it's a good one....right next to the port so you can see the boats coming in and out and don't have to get up too early for your ferry. There aren't any facilities like pool and park though.

Dover isn't the most inspiring place, you might be better off looking around Canterbury which is lovely and not far.
