Things for young people to do in Hobart, Tazmania

My son and his girlfriend are flying out to see my uncle in Australia in the New Year. It has been suggested they spend a week in Tazmania but they are unsure. They are open to new expierence and are the outdoor types.
When they go they will be 20 and19 years old.

Any ideas of fun things for them to do?

If they are outdoor types they could spend months in Tasmania , although not Hobart. Look up the national parks - cradle mountain, Mount field and so on. Cataract gorge at Launceston is also fun.

MONA art museum is a must. Mind blowing . Heaps of hiking and camping and not too hot. They will love it.

I have always dreamed of going to Australia one day. I hear it is so much fun! I want to go and see all of the major cities while I'm there. This article was helpful so I can make sure I see the things that are worth seeing while I'm there! I will make sure to go check out the MONA art museum. www.taslaserskirmish.com.au/occasions/things-to-do-hobart/

Dorry Wineglass Bay is a bit a way from Hobart but definitely worth the trip if they get chance.
The market on Saturdays is good from 08.00 to about 3.00pm it gets very busy.
